Anemones are very small bulbs which produce daisy-like flowers. Most anemones are planted in Autumn for Spring blooms, however, a few varieties can also be planted in the spring for an early summer bloom. These bulbs create great groundcovers and borders in full and partial sun areas.
- For the best results they should be chilled for 5-6 weeks, and then soaked in water for 3-4 hours prior to planting.
- This will encourage them to sprout faster and get growing so they develop a good network of roots their first autumn in the garden.
