Arthur Burke Ltd was established in 1935 and is an integral part of the North Canterbury commmunity offering our locals a helping hand with all of their hardware products, services & practical advise, all with a friendly smile.

The level of commitment and dedication by our team is illustrated by their long standing and loyal commitment to us. Lindsay our store manager has been with us for 45 years and is a well respected member of the Amberley community and a very well known figure here at our Hammer Hardware store.
Along with Lindsay we have Anne and Julie, both of whom offer second to none customer service and valuable advice for our locals. Anne and Julie have been with us for 11 and 4 years respectively.

We are proud that we can offer such a knowledgeable and committed team to achieve the best possible experience for all of our customers.

We pride ourselves on supporting our local community groups, schools and clubs by way of sponsorship and donations. To be able to give back to our locals is an extremely rewarding part of our business.
